As your Fitness trainer I will assist you with being Fit for Life. We are under-exercised as a nation. We ride instead of walk. Our existence deprives us of the minimum of physical activity essential for a healthy living.

Age is inevitable and extremely desirable when compared to such alternatives as being feeble and frail. Because the aging process is very individual, the speed and extent of aging varies from person to person. Many of the negative effects of aging are brought on in part by physical inactivity and can be reversed with regular physical activity. We must dismiss the stereotype that senior citizens are frail, elderly people who are incapable of health and vitality.

On my program I will show you how proper exercise may in fact extend one’s life span and that, without question, it will improve the quality of one’s life. Exercise can help you walk taller, feel better, and live longer. Physical fitness is important for everyone.

The bottom line is that physical fitness is the key to both mental and physical health for the older adult. If a person wishes to age successfully, they must commit to engaging in a program of systematic exercise.

Program Details

At home Training sessions will vary, starting with light weight exercises for upper and lower body. Weight training is important to our over all body health. Weights will mostly consist of utilizing your own body weight for specific workout routines along with bands and exercise ball.

I am also available to assist you in your gym, working with you on movement and form.

HIIT (high intensity interval training) will also be incorporated into workouts for best results. Work out plans will be unique to a persons activity level.

If you are a person with a disability, perhaps wheelchair bound, or blind, that is not a problem. I am certified with the International Sports Sciences Association to work with adults with disabilities.

Don’t have a gym membership? No problem. I will work with you at your home, group facility or virtual online sessions.

I am also available to teach you how to read labels at you grocery store showing you those key words that are actually tricky words for sugar, hidden under words we can’t even pronounce.
